okay, YAY. i am done with tags. my gosh. i cannot believe i'm going to the airport tonight and leaving tomorrow. how will i survive i wonder? and like no connection with my life at all? this worries me. i need to be updated about like whats going on! :):):)

nows the bigbig exciting time! haha. i just realised that because there's so much i want to write i'm actually lazy to have to write. ah. but no! i will.
COALS! 24-26nov :]

day 1:)
haha. i woke up and went to school all excited! it was really nice i guess. i mean because you worked so hard and put so much effort into everything. it is really so nice to like see everything come together:) hahha. so like HAWK rushed through our stuff, we got labelled, labelled bags, prepared stuff and just got everything settled! it was so so nice and beautiful. hahaha. so then we happily left for LABRADOR ADVENTURE CAMP! haha. and a scared me was like trying to study first aid notes. haha. but well, we reached! so we got briefed and had belay school! (if youre wondering why i'm going so according to event, i'm looking at the timeline as i do this) hahaha. so belay school was fun! i think its good that we were given the chance to clearly learn how to belay and also be a climber and all. even though i have no idea when the knowledge will come in handy, i definitely enjoyed it! :D

and there was lunch! i tell you the food at the camp is seriously good okay! got nice food, then also like sleeping arrangements all very nice:) okay, so after lunch, we had low-e!!! hmm, there was bouldering, which i officially think is very fun. though i am not good at it at all. haha. but marilyn helped to set hawk's record! that sadly got beaten. but still:D hahaha. and mr chee is very very pro okay, you see the way he does it is every cool.

then there were the other rope rope stuff. the army crawl one, then got acid river, then the swing swing one. haha. it was so hard for HAWK to balance on the log okay. we keep falling anf falling and falling. haha. it was actually very funny. so we decided the best way was to hugL:)
but clumsy people cannot go together. haha. i won't say who but they admitted they had "no sense of balance" hahaha! but we made it out of it well and happy. and more bonded! it was good that we kept cheering! YAY YAY YAY :D

so then we had wilderness! haha. had first aid! i'm surprised that the test was not more detailed. but i'm glad because even so, my knowledge is not very good. hehe. but still, i passed! :D hahaha. so then it was campcraft! i think my group, which was noorul, me, celine, charlene and renuka was very funny! haha. we were quite slow and took a long time to start. but it was a whole lot of fun! haha. instructor jieshi helped out too:D welll, the sad sad thing, is that, OUR POPCORN DID NOT POP. haha. you know we started talking to the popcorn. at least i was talking to it. and like every time we would get so excited "the corn going to pop, corn going to pop!" and then we got so super excited and hopeful when the oil started sizzling! haha. we were worried that our bowl couldn't take the weight because like i jieshi said they would give us like 5seeds? and we got like 30+++? haha. but yes, it did not break on us! thank you bowl:D so we blocked wind, and started crazy metods in hope that there would be enough heat to cook it. we used out hands to fan the flame and all. ahaha. celine's "wonderful" idea.

hmm, then orienteering! i thought it was like totally tiring okay! because like we had to fun all the way to labrador park. but i must say it is really a nice and super beautiful place. you can see the sea, and feel the breeze. haha, i never knew singapore had such a place. then again, i don't know much of singapore. okay, well, hawk stayed together. and for orienteering i was with ming zhen, lingyi and celine. haha. it was very fun! we were like not so sure of stuff but we managed to find our way! haha:D somehow we had no idea where to go. but we went to the jetty which was so so nice too! haha. well, but i think HAWK really did well, BECAUSE WE WON FOR ORIENTEERING! yay yay yay yay yay yay yay yay yay!!!!! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):) hahahah. we all did our best and we won! hahaha. "we did it, we did it, we did it, hooray! we won for orienteering, we did it, hooray!" and so there was the run back to camp. and hawk stayed together! i am so proud of all of us, that we managed to stick together no matter what! :D good job and well done HAWK! hehehehehe

oh no. my blog sounds somewhat like an essay. its so lengthy. i apologise, but i hope you all still read it! :)

hahaha. okay, so there was rushing to shower, dinner, reflections, then PRE CAMPFIRE NIGHT! hahaha. i think all the groups did really well! i mean, it was nice, but i had no campfire feeling. possibly because there was no campfire. and like only kerosine lamps. haha. but well, it was really awesome to watch everyone perform. I THINK ALL OF YALL DID WELL! :) YAY. after that there was night walk. which was fun, though i would say kinda weird. but still, enjoyed it! hahaha. oh gosh, like so many activities remind me of the guides camp. i miss i miss i miss guides so so so so so so so much! :( BOOHOOOHHOOO. but am i glad to announce that we're having another outing? hahahaha.

wait, back to COALS. so went to bed. i think i slept like within 1min? because i was tired and the bed was comfy. at least for camp. haha. its hard to keep being high and smiling all the time okay? I NEED ENERGY. hahaha. so we planned to wake up early, they did, i didn't. haha. i told you, i am a pig. so like when i amanda loh told us to go back to sleep, me and charlene were like "blong" and we wentt back into wonderful land :D

day 2:)
there was breakfast! and then high-e!!! haha. so fun! there was "this group" and "that group" . i was in "this group" so like we cheered on that group and went "go that group!" hahaha. it was so fun! well, high-e was challenging, but i do believe that its a wonderful experience:) haha. so we CHEERED AND CHEERED AND CHEERED. and well, i think that this group did a wonderful job! we had instructor wenmin and andeline belaying for us! they were very nice so we thanked them! hahaha. and like instructor andeline said we were very enthusiastic and that she was proud to be able to belay for us! so nice:D hahahah. yes, i did the like cross and walk over that thing, then i did challenge pole. where you like stand on the pole and and then jump down! i think we did great! thank you mr chan. and it was as though i was hanged, because the thing was all tight, so now i have abrasion. but yeah! it was the bomb okay.

hmm, then outdoor cooking! i enjoyed it! was a lot of fun cooking the stuff and all. but it was sad because we got gas stoves and not like have to dig a whole in the ground and use punk, kindling, and branches the guides way. its more fun that way. i wish i can do it again. but well, so we cooked and i was in charge of my potato! haha. beautiful potato! that i talked to too. haha. so we did well i guess, and we got good food! :D but sorry instructors because we didn't give them food to try.

oh so we were broken up into new group! we were group 1! :D hehe. we have nice nice people from hawk, indigo and gryphon is group 1:D hahahha:) so it was iniative games! with instructor shao min and stella :D it was a lot of fun! hahaha. we did a good job running and playing the games! hahaha. strange monster was funny.or was in strange creature? but it was fun definitely! :D hahaha.

oh and then rockclimbing! eek. (oh no oh no! i'm running out of time!) hahaha. it was nice rock climbing! but i was very tired. and well, my technique was wrong so it was hard for me. and i was kinda disappointed i must say. but well, thank you instructor may and also the whole belay team. i'm glad that i was not allowed down because i managed to reach the top. i'm proud of that:D hahaha. but well, i must improve! jiayou jiayou. everyone in group 1 was really good so well done! :)

and abseiling! i really enjoyed it! its so fun you know! the teacher who helped was very nice! hahah. and as usual, i got the "do you know what your name means thing" hahaha. I KNOW I KNOW! wahahahaha. but well, its a lot of fun! i did twice! :D and then he let the whole rope slack so i could decide whatever speed i wanted. its nice! you can go "fast fast fast then STOP!" hahaha.

and then the ZIPLINE! my gosh. its very scary okay, looking down as you like run! haha. but its a lot of fun! thank you lingyi, i love you too! hahaha. she said "i love hawk! then i love dawn!" as she went down:D hehehehe. it was nice talking to ms poon before i went down, its scary but i don't really remember much. everything passes so fast. haha. so when i went down and i said "i love hawk! i love cedar guides! then I love badi" (because she was feeling sad). ahahaha. so i then officially joined the trolley gang! its very fun okay. there was me, lingyi, vivian and kelly. but kelly left so it was us, with ms siew and instructor jane. haha. the people kept coming! but its nice i guess. one instructor even said "thank you trolley people!" haha. and me and lingyi had fun watching our "movie" hehe.

after that i went for kitchen duty! its funny ou know! haha. noorul and hui sian both had holes it their masks. and we only served like gryphon. haha. but yes, i enjoyed it. oh my oh my! i am reaching that wonderful part that i always enjoy talking about! the the the the.....
CAMPFIRE!
haha. it was great, i really enjoyed it. all the singing and the emcees and watching the performances. i think hawk that we did great! we tried our best and it really showed i feel! hahaha. our like whole script changed and we did impromtu stuff. but it was nice and fun! we worked so hard for it so i'm so proud of us HAWK! we did well! :D

and there was song singing and stuff like that. and i cried:( hahahaha. i'm not that surprised! i actually think i cried like more this 1 and a half months than i cried like the last few years of my life. hahaha. well, i got many hugs:D thank you hawk! i love you all too. and thank you instructor amanda poh and may for your hugs and well wishes. i really appreciate it. thank you ms poon for your words of wisdom. thank you hawk instructors for your understanding. and thank you everyone else for the comfort. i love you all! :D and the campfire ended. whiich is always the sad part! oh but we sang and played a lot of games! it was very funny funny and fun! teachers and also leaders were also there! i truly enjoyed myself. sigh. i can't help but compare. it was nice and fun but just different from guides.eek. so i cried and all, had debreif. everyone seemed sad. camp was ending. of course we were sad. and well, sleep.

day 3:)
hahaha. i woke up! and my energy level was back! no more sad dawn. haha! so well, it was fun, we cleared up. we were incharge of like "grassy" areas where we competed for litter! hahah. they called me a betrayer:( hahaha. but well, it was very very fun! haha. it was close, me and celine in the battle for who can find more plastic things. haha. we even digged the like ground for litter! there are a lot of stuff buried okay. its so funny actually. hahaha.

then we had nice photos! and a lot a lot of fun! we did 2P banja and also sang canadian vesper with guides! my gosh. how much i just love that song. so we had nice hawk nice, singing songs! epo e tai tai in killing the BUTT! haha. so funny. and then we wrote the most AWESOMENESS CHEER! :) hehehe.

we performed our cheer to instructor diana and she said some stuff to us. it was sad, and after that we cried. most of us. and as usual i think i cried the worst. haha, it was a sad moment for us. but it was funny seeing people and their crying voices. WAHA. celine's tried hard not to cry and focused on stuff. well, we had nice talks together while waiting for the bus! and in the bus we just sang all the campfire songs! :) HEHE. it was loads of nice nice fun! and we went back to school got nice talks and like the prizes were announced! hahaha. HAWK TIED WITH ALPHA FOR MOST ENTHUSIASTIC. hehhe! but yay. so happy. so we performed for instrutor jieshi and u-shiuan:D and then we ordered pizza! beloved wonderful pizza and had fun eating and bonding! it was nice that instructor jieshi came to join us. haha. she kept asking us to talk to her. haha.

and then it was HOME. went with noorul taking up space in the bus. hahaha.

And well, i'm so afraid i made the wrong decision. i mean, i knw taking up the offer for IP would mean leaving cedar but i didn't know it would be so hard. God blessed me and put so many wonderful people in my life! And i had great fun, great memories and overall great time. HAHA. and like ms poon said, I keep the memories and I leave the footprints. oh my.
